Ecommerce!

Do you shop online? There is a new addition to the online retailers, Fashion Stake is a great new company that is going to give Gilt a run for their money. I have had so much fun working with them this past month. The launch is coming later this week and I am so excited to see the results! My close friend Alex Brown is photographing for them and we have had a great couple of shoots. I also have been working hard on my hair skills and I am so happy to be able to be doing both and feeling it!

Fashion, Fashion, Fashion!

Fashion week is rolling around again, I am lucky enough to be doing the makeup for my great friend Anna McCraney's Spring 2011 show. Please stay posted for pictures coming in the following weeks. This summer I assisted Itzuki on a fashion show for the opening of the Forever 21 show in Times Square. My model had the punk look and I had a great time doing her makeup. I used the new Make Up Forever HD foundation, I have to say I swoon at the results. I am such a skin freak and this foundation is absolutely amazing!

Boys of Summer

Hi! I can't believe that the summer is almost over. I had such a great time that I totally ignored my blogging. I had so many awesome experiences this summer and worked with so many fun amazing people its rediculous! This was one of my more challenging shoots, we had to be at Coney Island at dawn. My call time was 3am and I think I only slept an hour before the shoot. It was for the band So-So Glows new album called Low Back Chain Shift. The guys were super good sports and definitely kept the party going, luckily for me the guys were all so super sweet. I love the couch on the beach, I made a mental note and hope to keep that idea for something I can work on in the future. You also would not believe how many people are up swimming and running on the beach at 5am, most of them being over 70, I hope I am still going strong like that!

The Frisky

I did a series of segments for the online magazine The Frisky. I loved working with everyone on this shoot, they all did an amazing job. Again, I used my airbrush.. I am loving that thing!

Here is a bride that I worked with, Julia. She is beautiful, I used an airbrush to apply her foundation. The results are amazing and I love how even and smooth the skin is. I use Kett foundations they are my favorite.

MacGruber!

Adorableness

I am so lucky to be able to work in such a diverse field. My days are always different and I am so happy seeing what the end results are. I love this shoot and had so much fun working with these adorable kids. The Photographer is Natasha Brien and I think she did a great job telling her Nursery Rhyme Story. This job I did both hair and super light grooming, little kids are pretty perfect but they get dirty quick!
